Apple Power Macintosh 6100
I have a special attachment to the Power Macintosh 6100, as I used them for
several years while at university. When we first got them, they were quite
impressive (using a system with a RISC processor was a novelty at the time).
Of course, after a few years had passed, these machines really showed their
age, badly. Most PowerMac applications ran rather slowly on these machines,
and their built-in video was not very impressive. Still, I'm happy to have
this machine, although I'm really hoping to be able to pick up a used G3
for a reasonable price soon.
